1. Scope and Acceptance
1.1 This Artificial Intelligence and Automation Policy explains how Hindustan Astro uses artificial intelligence and automation in its content, its customer chat and automation services, and its telephone support, on our website, www.hindustanastro.com, and across our channels.
1.2 It forms part of our Terms of Service and is to be read together with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, our content, or our chat and automation services, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
2. AI-Generated Content
2.1 We use artificial intelligence to create or assist in creating some of the photographs, videos, images, and other content shown on our website, in our services, and in our marketing.
2.2 You acknowledge that artificial intelligence, and the persons involved in our work, can make mistakes, and we do not accept full or absolute responsibility for any error, inaccuracy, distortion, or unintended outcome arising from artificial-intelligence-generated content used on our platform, in our services, or by our Company.
3. Removal of AI Content
3.1 If you find that any artificial-intelligence-generated or other content contains a mistake, is harmful, or includes your personal information or likeness, you may request its removal by writing to legal@hindustanastro.com, and we will review and act on your request reasonably and in accordance with the applicable law.
3.2 Nothing in this Policy removes any right available to you under the laws of India that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. AI-Assisted Chat and Automation Services
4.1 Our customer chat and automation services across our social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, and our website chatbot, are operated through a third-party service provider based in the United States.
4.2 When you use these chat services, your data, including the messages and information you submit, may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States.
4.3 Such cross-border processing and storage is carried out in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and appropriate safeguards, and by using our chat services you consent to the processing and storage of your data outside India.
5. AI Calling Agent
5.1 We may, in the future, introduce an artificial-intelligence calling agent on our telephone line.
5.2 Any such facility is presently at a training and evaluation stage. It may be introduced or withdrawn at our discretion, and we make no commitment that it will be offered permanently.
5.3 Upon the permanent adoption of an AI calling agent, we will review, renew, and update our policies as required under the applicable law, and the updated position will be published on our Platform Updates page and across our website.
6. No Professional Advice and No Guarantee
6.1 Our artificial intelligence and automation tools are provided for convenience, information, and support purposes only. They do not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind, and they are not a substitute for a consultation with our astrologer.
6.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any response, output, or content generated by an artificial-intelligence tool, and you should not rely on such output for any important personal, medical, legal, financial, business, or relationship decision.
7. Human Support
7.1 Our human chat and voice support continues to operate on its usual days and at its usual times, following Indian Standard Time, and you may reach our human support through the contact details set out in this Policy.
8. Cross-Border Data Transfer
8.1 Where your data is transferred to or stored in a location outside India, including the United States, through our artificial intelligence or automation services, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any restriction notified by the Central Government, and we apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
9. Third-Party Providers and Liability
9.1 Our artificial intelligence and automation services rely on third-party providers and platforms, and, to the maximum extent permitted under the applicable law, we are not liable for any outage, interruption, error, delay, unauthorised third-party access, or technical failure of such third-party providers or platforms that is beyond our reasonable control.
10. Data Protection
10.1 All personal data processed through our artificial intelligence and automation services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
11. Training and Review Period
11.1 Within sixty (60) days after we implement an AI chat agent or an AI phone-call agent for our website, our social media platforms, or our WhatsApp chat, we will review, renew, and update our policies. During that sixty-day period the AI agent is in a training phase, and once that training phase is complete we will publish the renewed and updated policies on our Platform Updates page and across our website.
12. Changes to this Policy
12.1 We may update this Policy from time to time, and the updated version will be published on our website, with material changes also noted on our Platform Updates page.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
13.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, having territorial jurisdiction over Zirakpur.
