1. Scope and Acceptance

1.1 These Consultation Terms govern all video call consultations and in person consultations offered by Hindustan Astro, which are the only consultation formats we currently offer.

1.2 By booking or attending a consultation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, which form part of our Terms of Service and are to be read together with our Return and Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

2. Nature of Guidance

2.1 Our consultations are based on traditional Lal Kitab astrology and the interpretation of your birth chart, and the astrologer provides spiritual and advisory guidance only.

2.2 A consultation does not constitute legal, medical, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind, and you remain responsible for your own personal decisions, actions, and outcomes.

2.3 Our consultations, predictions, and spiritual remedies based on Lal Kitab are offered for spiritual belief and guidance, and we do not guarantee any specific result or outcome.

3. Illustrative Examples and Symbolic Explanation

3.1 To help you understand the guidance, the astrologer may use illustrative examples, symbolic narratives, or hypothetical scenarios during a consultation, including examples describing individuals with certain planetary influences who faced challenges, or individuals with favourable alignments who pursued business, trade, property, or other activities.

3.2 Such examples are provided solely for explanatory and educational purposes. They are not instructions, endorsements, directions, or encouragement to engage in any particular conduct, they are not factual statements about your character, and they do not guarantee any outcome.

3.3 You acknowledge that these illustrative narratives are interpretive tools used to clarify astrological concepts and are not personal accusations, moral judgments, or promises of future success.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

4.1 Astrology is interpretive in nature. Our predictions, remedies, and guidance are based on traditional principles and on the analysis of your individual birth chart, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome, financial gain, relationship success, business performance, or life result.

4.2 Results may vary depending on your personal effort, your free will, timing, and external circumstances beyond our control.

5. Privacy and Recording

5.1 Your consultations are private. We do not record the audio or video of any consultation without your permission. If you do not agree to a recording, we do not record. Where you give permission, we may record only for quality and training purposes, and we handle any such recording in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5.2 In the same way, you may not record, screenshot, reproduce, distribute, or publish the audio, video, or content of any consultation without our prior written permission.

5.3 If a consultation is recorded by you without our permission, this is a breach of these Terms. We would prefer to resolve such matters through direct communication, and we may enforce our rights and seek any remedy available under the applicable law where necessary.

6. Confidentiality

6.1 All consultations are confidential. You shall not publicly disclose, publish, broadcast, or misrepresent any part of a consultation in a misleading, defamatory, or harmful manner. Nothing in this Clause restricts your lawful right to share your honest experience or to raise a genuine complaint.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All consultation content, including guidance, interpretations, and any accompanying material, remains the intellectual property of Hindustan Astro.

8. Client Conduct

8.1 You are expected to maintain respectful and professional behaviour during a consultation. Harassment, abusive language, threats, or inappropriate conduct may result in the immediate termination of the session, and any refund in such a case is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

8.2 You shall not make any knowingly false, misleading, or defamatory statement about Hindustan Astro or the astrologer. Our full position on this subject is set out in our Fair Use Terms.

9. Booking, Scheduling, Delays, and Cancellations

9.1 Before booking, you may contact us at support@hindustanastro.com or by phone at +91 9429691295 to confirm the available consultation times. An appointment date and time is confirmed only after payment and is subject to the availability of the astrologer.

9.2 Our consultations are offered on an overbooked basis and are in consistently high demand, which can mean a waiting period of around three months, as disclosed on our Platform Updates page and at the time of booking. We give you a scheduled date at booking and, where a waiting period applies, a revised scheduled date in due course.

9.3 A consultation may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled by reason of the health of the astrologer, an emergency, a network or communication outage, travel disruption, weather, a government restriction, a force majeure event, or any similar circumstance beyond our reasonable control. In any such case, our primary remedy is to schedule a prompt alternative appointment, and we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and to offer the next available appointment.

10. Refunds

10.1 Consultations are personalised, and as a general rule all sales are final, as explained in our Return and Refund Policy. A refund on the ground of non delivery is available where we fail to deliver your consultation by the revised scheduled date we have given you, or within 60 working days of the scheduled date where no revised date applies, as set out in Clause 5 of our Return and Refund Policy. While we are still within the disclosed waiting period or a revised scheduled date that you have accepted, a refund on this ground is not available. Nothing in these Terms removes any right available to you under the applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the extent permitted by the applicable law, we are not liable for any personal, financial, business, or emotional decision that you make following a consultation. Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, for our own negligence to the extent the law does not allow it to be excluded, or for any obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under the applicable law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Grievance Officer and Contact

We acknowledge every request within five working days and work to resolve it within 30 days, with working days excluding Sundays and public holidays.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Consultation Terms are governed by the laws of India.
