1. Scope and Acceptance

1.1 These Content and Publishing Terms apply to all printed books, digital books, electronic books, PDFs, guides, astrology publications, spiritual reading materials, educational materials, and related publications offered through Hindustan Astro.

1.2 By purchasing, accessing, downloading, reading, using, or interacting with any publication offered by us, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms, which form part of our Terms of Service.

2. Publishing Arrangements and Our Role

2.1 We may offer publications through a range of arrangements, including direct publishing arrangements, third-party publishers, printing partners, content licensors, resale arrangements, fulfilment providers, branded distribution partnerships, and external publishing collaborations, and these Terms apply to all such publications unless we expressly state otherwise.

2.2 Depending on the publication, we may act as a reseller, distributor, branding partner, fulfilment provider, seller, publishing facilitator, or marketing platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise within the publication or on the official product page, we do not claim authorship, editorial control, or ownership of third-party written content.

3. Third-Party Content and Ownership

3.1 Certain publications may contain material that is created, edited, translated, designed, printed, licensed, published, or supplied by third-party authors, publishers, printers, licensors, translators, designers, or external contributors, and such material may include astrological interpretations, spiritual guidance, remedies, educational references, symbolic explanations, illustrations, translations, opinions, historical references, and philosophical viewpoints.

3.2 This material remains the responsibility and the intellectual property of its respective creators or rights holders unless we expressly state otherwise, and we may publish, distribute, market, or resell such material in good faith on the basis of the publishing, licensing, printing, fulfilment, or distribution arrangements available to us.

4. Branding, Packaging, and Resale

4.1 Where applicable, we may package, market, distribute, brand, or resell publications under our business identity.

4.2 Such branding, packaging, marketing, distribution, or resale does not mean that we created the underlying written content, that we independently verified every statement within third-party material, that we guarantee the factual completeness or accuracy of third-party content, or that we accept responsibility for third-party authored opinions, interpretations, or references, and it does not transfer ownership of any underlying intellectual property right to us unless we expressly state otherwise.

5. No Warranty on Third-Party Material

5.1 To the maximum extent permitted under the applicable law, we do not guarantee the completeness, the uninterrupted availability, the suitability for your individual circumstances, or the originality of third-party material, nor do we guarantee any personal outcome resulting from the use of any publication.

5.2 Except for any representation we expressly make on the official product page, you acknowledge that certain publications may contain third-party opinions, interpretations, translations, educational references, or spiritual viewpoints that may vary between authors, traditions, schools of thought, or publishers.

6. Independent Judgment

6.1 You are responsible for exercising your own independent judgment before relying on any publication, recommendation, interpretation, or written material, and you should independently verify any important personal, financial, legal, medical, business, or relationship decision before acting on the content of a publication.

7. Artificial Intelligence Content

7.1 Some of the content in our publications and on our website may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence, and you acknowledge that artificial intelligence, and the persons involved in our work, can make mistakes.

7.2 If you find that any such content contains a mistake, is harmful, or includes your personal information or likeness, you may request its removal by writing to legal@hindustanastro.com, and we will review and act on your request reasonably and in accordance with the applicable law.

8. Interpretive Nature of Content

8.1 Astrology, spirituality, and metaphysical subjects are interpretive in nature, and our publications are intended for informational, educational, spiritual, and reference purposes only. Different astrologers, traditions, practitioners, authors, and schools of thought may hold different interpretations, practices, methods, beliefs, and viewpoints.

9. Digital Delivery and Availability

9.1 Digital publications may be delivered through third-party systems, cloud services, email systems, software providers, fulfilment partners, download services, or external platforms.

9.2 While we make reasonable efforts to maintain accessibility and delivery, availability may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, and, to the maximum extent permitted under the applicable law, we are not liable for external server interruptions, software incompatibility, third-party platform outages, unauthorised third-party access, temporary download interruptions, or technical failures outside our reasonable control.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All trademarks, logos, branding elements, packaging designs, website presentation, and proprietary Hindustan Astro materials remain protected under the applicable intellectual property laws, and third-party publication content remains the intellectual property of its respective rights holders.

10.2 You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, commercially exploit, upload publicly, modify, scan, resell, copy, or distribute any protected material without appropriate authorisation from the relevant rights holder.

11. Misleading Use and Reputation

11.1 You may not knowingly publish false or materially misleading allegations about Hindustan Astro, manipulate publication material in a misleading manner, distribute altered screenshots or edited content intended to misrepresent our publications, falsely represent third-party publications as content authored originally by Hindustan Astro, or knowingly make defamatory statements intended to unfairly damage our business reputation.

11.2 Nothing in this Clause restricts lawful consumer reviews, honest feedback, fair criticism, or any right available to you under the applicable law, and our full position on this subject is set out in our Fair Use and Reputation Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted under the applicable laws of India, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, interpretive, business, emotional, consequential, or expectation-based loss arising from your reliance on publication content, astrology-related interpretations, spiritual guidance, educational references, third-party publication material, or author opinions or recommendations.

12.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for any obligation that cannot legally be excluded under the applicable law.

13. Statutory Consumer Rights

13.1 Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right available to you under the applicable Indian consumer protection laws, and if any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right under the applicable law, that right shall prevail to the extent required by law.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

14.1 These Content and Publishing Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, having territorial jurisdiction over Zirakpur.

15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time, and the updated version becomes effective upon publication on our website, with material changes also noted on our Platform Updates page.
