Exchange Policy

1. Scope and Acceptance


1.1 This Exchange Policy explains when and how an exchange is available for physical items purchased on our website, www.hindustanastro.com.


1.2 It forms part of our Terms of Service and is to be read together with our Return and Refund Policy and our Shipping Policy. By making any purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted it.


2. When an Exchange Is Available


2.1 An exchange is available only where a physical item reaches you in a damaged or defective condition.


2.2 Where a physical item is received damaged or defective, you may choose either an exchange under this Policy or a refund under our Return and Refund Policy. The choice is yours.


3. Unboxing Video Evidence


3.1 To make an exchange claim, you must record a clear, continuous, and unedited video while you open the courier package, showing the sealed package and the damage or defect as it is revealed, because this unboxing video is the evidence on which your claim depends.


3.2 If you are unable to provide a valid and complete unboxing video, your exchange claim may be rejected.


4. Return of the Item


4.1 An exchange is provided only after the original item is sent back to and received at our registered office at 6th Floor, Unit No. 620, Cabin No. 2, Motia Royal Business Park, Ambala Chandigarh Expressway, Zirakpur, SAS Nagar, Punjab — 140603, India, together with your order details and the unboxing video.


4.2 Once we have received the returned item and verified the evidence, we will approve the exchange.


5. Exchange Charges


5.1 In the case of an approved exchange, we do not charge you again for the cost of the item itself.


5.2 However, we may charge you the applicable delivery or shipping fee and any applicable Goods and Services Tax or other taxes payable on the exchange, and you agree to pay such charges before the exchanged item is dispatched.


6. Approval and Dispatch of Exchange


6.1 After we approve the exchange and receive any applicable delivery fee and taxes, we will dispatch the exchanged item within a reasonable period, subject to availability and to the delivery timelines set out in our Shipping Policy.


6.2 Where the same item is not available, we may, at our discretion and with your agreement, offer a suitable alternative or process a refund under our Return and Refund Policy.


7. Items Not Eligible for Exchange


7.1 Exchanges apply to physical items only. Consultations, webinars, electronic books, PDF files, and other digital deliverables are not eligible for exchange, and any remedy in respect of such items is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.


8. Restricted Countries


8.1 We do not currently offer our services or sales to Pakistan or to Bangladesh, and the current list of restricted destinations is published on our Platform Updates page.


8.2 An exchange involving a restricted destination may not be possible, and any refund that becomes due in such a case is dealt with in accordance with the restricted-country provisions of our Terms of Service and our Return and Refund Policy.


9. International Exchanges


9.1 For international orders, you remain responsible for all delivery or shipping fees, taxes, tariffs, customs duties, and import charges applicable to an exchange, and we are not liable for any delay, detention, seizure, or additional charge imposed by customs or any foreign authority.


10. Relationship with Other Policies


10.1 This Exchange Policy operates alongside our Return and Refund Policy and our Shipping Policy, and nothing in this Policy removes or limits any right available to you under the laws of India that cannot lawfully be removed or limited.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction


11.1 This Exchange Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, having territorial jurisdiction over Zirakpur.
