1. Scope and Acceptance

1.1 This Shipping Policy sets out our delivery timelines, shipping conditions, international delivery terms, digital delivery terms, and the related responsibilities that apply to orders placed on our website, www.hindustanastro.com.

1.2 It forms part of our Terms of Service and is to be read together with our Return and Refund Policy and our Exchange Policy. By placing any order, you confirm that you have read and accepted it.

2. Delivery Timelines

2.1 Domestic orders within India are delivered within seven working days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.2 International orders are delivered within thirty working days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.3 Digital deliveries are limited to electronic books and PDF files. Consultations are not treated as digital deliveries. Digital deliveries are completed within seven working days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.4 Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays, so a festival or government holiday is not counted. The timelines in this Policy are estimates and may vary depending on operational conditions, logistics movement, customs procedures, technical conditions, and other external factors.

3. Where We Ship

3.1 We ship physical items to most destinations. We may decline or cancel an order and its delivery, at our reasonable discretion, where delivery to a destination is not lawful or not reasonably possible.

3.2 From time to time a particular destination may be unavailable for reasons such as tariffs, a country to country conflict or war situation, a pandemic, a government restriction or lockdown, or the absence of safe logistics. Where this applies, we publish the current position on our Platform Updates page, and we recommend that you review that page before placing an international order.

4. Importer Exporter Code

4.1 Hindustan Astro holds an Importer Exporter Code, which is AMTPI5412R, issued in the name of Hindustan Astro.

5. International Shipping Charges

5.1 International shipping is charged in two parts.

5.2 A standard international shipping fee is charged at checkout.

5.3 A second, variable shipping amount may apply depending on prevailing pricing and cross border conditions at the time of your order. Our team will discuss this amount with you after the order is placed and may ask you to pay the additional amount before dispatch.

5.4 Because this additional amount is disclosed to you in advance, you cannot claim a refund of it once the order is placed.

6. Taxes, Duties, and Customs

6.1 We are not responsible for any taxes, customs duties, tariffs, import charges, levies, or similar fees imposed by any destination country or transit country, and you, as the customer, are responsible for paying all such charges.

6.2 International orders may be subject to customs checks, import duties, taxes, tariffs, or other local charges, all of which remain your responsibility, and international delivery is subject to customs procedures, courier movement, and the requirements of the destination country.

7. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

7.1 We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including courier and logistics partner delays, operational delays, weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies, customs clearance delays, technical disruptions, incorrect or incomplete address details, recipient unavailability, and any force majeure event.

7.2 This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. In any such case, delivery timelines may be extended without liability on our part, to the extent permitted by the applicable law.

8. Digital Deliveries

8.1 Our digital deliverables are limited to electronic books and PDF files. Consultations are not treated as digital deliverables.

8.2 Digital files are delivered electronically to the email address you provide at the time of purchase. You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and for ensuring that your email inbox is accessible, and we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect email details, spam filtering, or technical issues outside our control.

9. Accurate Delivery Information

9.1 You must provide accurate delivery information at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or missed delivery attempts caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details, and additional charges may apply for any redelivery attempt.

10. Lost Shipments

10.1 If a shipment is officially confirmed as lost by the courier, we will coordinate with the courier to investigate the matter, and we will either arrange a replacement or, where a replacement is not possible, process a refund of the price of the item, in addition to any remedy required under the applicable law. Any refund is handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

11. Returns and Exchanges

11.1 Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and our Exchange Policy, including the position on a genuinely damaged or defective item and the proof you should keep on delivery.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Our responsibility is to make reasonable efforts to deliver within the stated timelines. To the extent permitted by the applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from a delivery delay or from any issue beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect any right available to you under the applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We acknowledge every request within five working days and work to resolve it within 30 days, with working days excluding Sundays and public holidays.

14. Governing Law

14.1 This Policy is governed by the laws of India.
