1. Scope and Acceptance

1.1 This Shipping Policy sets out our delivery timelines, shipping conditions, international delivery terms, digital delivery terms, and the related responsibilities that apply to orders placed on our website, www.hindustanastro.com.

1.2 It forms part of our Terms of Service, and by placing any order you confirm that you have read and accepted it.

2. Delivery Timelines

2.1 All domestic orders within India are scheduled to be delivered within seven (7) working days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.2 All international orders are scheduled to be delivered within thirty (30) days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.3 Digital deliveries are limited to electronic books and PDF files only, and consultations are not treated as digital deliveries. Digital deliveries are scheduled to be completed within seven (7) working days from the date on which your payment is successfully confirmed.

2.4 Working days exclude Sundays and public holidays. The timelines stated in this Policy are estimates and may vary depending on operational conditions, logistics movement, customs procedures, technical conditions, and other external factors.

3. Restricted Destinations

3.1 We ship physical items worldwide, except to any country that is at war with India, that does not maintain diplomatic relations with India, or that is affected by cross-border tension or conflict, in which case we may reject or cancel the order and its delivery at our discretion.

3.2 We do not offer our services or sales to Pakistan or to Bangladesh, and we do not currently ship physical products to Iran due to the ongoing war situation.

3.3 The current list of restricted destinations is published and maintained on our Platform Updates page, and we recommend that you review it before placing an international order.

4. Importer Exporter Code

4.1 Hindustan Astro holds an Importer Exporter Code, which is AMTPI5412R, issued in the name of Hindustan Astro.

5. International Shipping Charges

5.1 International shipping is charged in two parts.

5.2 A standard international shipping fee is charged at checkout.

5.3 A second, variable shipping amount may apply depending on prevailing pricing and cross-border conditions at the time of your order. Our team will discuss this amount with you after the order is placed and may request you to pay the additional amount before dispatch.

5.4 You acknowledge that, once an order is placed, you cannot claim a refund on the ground of this additional international shipping charge, as it is disclosed to you in advance.

6. Taxes, Duties, and Customs

6.1 We are not responsible for any taxes, customs duties, tariffs, import charges, levies, or similar fees imposed by any destination country or any transit country, and you, as the customer, are solely responsible for paying all such charges.

6.2 International orders may be subject to customs checks, import duties, taxes, tariffs, or other local charges, all of which remain your responsibility, and international delivery is subject to customs procedures, courier movement, and the requirements of the destination country.

7. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

7.1 We do not take responsibility for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, courier and logistics-partner delays, operational delays, weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, lockdowns, political unrest, public emergencies, customs-clearance delays, technical disruptions, incorrect or incomplete address details, recipient unavailability, and any crisis, force majeure event, or similar circumstance.

7.2 This list is illustrative and not exhaustive, and in any such case delivery timelines may be extended without liability on our part, to the extent permitted by the applicable law.

8. Digital Deliveries

8.1 Our digital deliverables are limited to electronic books and PDF files only, and consultations are not treated as digital deliverables.

8.2 Digital files are delivered electronically to the email address you provide at the time of booking. You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and for ensuring that your email inbox is accessible, and we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect email details, spam filtering, or technical issues outside our control.

9. Accurate Delivery Information

9.1 You must provide accurate delivery information at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or missed delivery attempts caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details, and additional charges may apply for any redelivery attempt.

10. Lost Shipments

10.1 If a shipment is officially confirmed as lost by the courier partner, we will coordinate with the logistics provider to investigate the matter, and a replacement may be provided at our discretion.

10.2 A refund is not guaranteed in such a case unless a refund is required under the applicable law, and any refund that is approved is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

11. Returns and Exchanges

11.1 Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and our Exchange Policy, including the requirement that a damaged or defective item be returned to our registered office with a valid unboxing video before a refund or exchange is approved.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Our responsibility is limited to making reasonable efforts to ensure delivery within the stated timelines, and, to the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damage arising from a delivery delay or from any issue beyond our reasonable control.
