1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.1 These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website www.hindustanastro.com and the consultations, reports, remedies, publications, products, and related services offered by Hindustan Astro, referred to in these Terms as we, us, or our. The person who accesses our website or uses our services is referred to as you.

1.2 We provide astrology based services grounded in traditional Lal Kitab astrology, offered for spiritual, educational, and informational purposes.

1.3 By accessing this website, booking a consultation, purchasing any product or service, joining a webinar, using our chat or calling services, or using our content in any manner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and to our other published policies, namely our Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Consultation Terms, Content Terms, Fair Use Terms, Webinar Terms, Legal Notice, Disclaimer, Cookies and Tracking notice, Grievances policy, Platform Updates page, Exchange Policy, AI Policy, and Contact Information page. Each of these forms part of these Terms, and together they make up the entire agreement between you and us.

2. Definitions

2.1 Services means all consultations, reports, remedies, publications, webinars, digital content, products, and related offerings made available by us.

2.2 Platform means our website, our messaging and calling channels, and any associated systems through which we provide the Services.

2.3 Content means all text, reports, guidance, images, audio, video, designs, and other material made available by us.

3. Nature of Our Services

3.1 We provide astrology based content, horoscopes, video call consultations, in person consultations, written reports, webinars, electronic books, physical books, remedies, and related products and services. All of these are offered for spiritual, educational, and informational purposes.

3.2 Astrology is interpretive in nature. Our guidance, predictions, and spiritual remedies based on Lal Kitab are based on traditional principles and on the interpretation of your birth chart, and they do not constitute legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

3.3 Our consultations, predictions, and spiritual remedies based on Lal Kitab are offered for spiritual belief and guidance, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome, prediction, financial result, relationship result, business result, or health result. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.

4. Eligibility

4.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase our products or services or to enter into these Terms. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Bookings, Scheduling, and Availability

5.1 An appointment for a consultation is confirmed only after payment and is subject to the availability of the astrologer. At the time of booking, and before payment, we give you a scheduled date and time, and by completing your booking you accept that schedule.

5.2 Our consultations are offered on an overbooked basis and are in consistently high demand, so there may be a waiting period before your session, as described on our Platform Updates page. We give you a scheduled date at booking and, where a waiting period applies, a revised scheduled date in due course.

5.3 Consultations and webinars may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled by reason of the health of the astrologer or host, an emergency, a network or technical problem, a government restriction, a force majeure event, or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control. In any such case, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, and a delay, rescheduling, or cancellation of this kind does not by itself entitle you to a refund, except as set out in our Return and Refund Policy or where a refund is required under the applicable law.

6. Pricing and Payments

6.1 The prices for our Services are displayed on our website, and whether a price includes or excludes tax is indicated at the point of purchase. Applicable Goods and Services Tax and any other taxes are charged in accordance with the law.

6.2 Payments are processed through third party payment gateways. We do not store your card details on our own systems, and we are not responsible for any failure, delay, or error caused by a payment gateway, a bank, or any other processor, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist you if a payment issue arises.

6.3 International shipping may involve an additional variable charge, as described in our Shipping Policy and our Return and Refund Policy.

7. Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

7.1 Because our consultations and items are personalised and astrology based, all sales are final and our Services are generally not refundable, except on the limited grounds where a refund is available, namely where a physical item reaches you genuinely damaged or defective, or where a service or item is not delivered to you at all within the timeline stated in our Return and Refund Policy, or where a refund is required under the applicable law. 8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All Content, reports, designs, graphics, branding, and materials made available through the Platform are the intellectual property of Hindustan Astro or the respective rights holders, and they are protected under the applicable intellectual property laws.

8.2 Hindustan Astro is our brand name and business name, and our logo and original branding are our property, protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. We do not claim any registered trademark. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, or commercially use any of our material without our prior written permission.

8.3 You may not record, screenshot, capture, or reproduce the audio or video of any consultation, webinar, or session without our prior written permission. Where this happens without permission, we may enforce our rights and seek any remedy available under the applicable law.

9. Acceptable Use

9.1 You agree to use the Platform and the Services lawfully and respectfully. You may not misuse the Platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, provide false information, infringe the rights of others, or use the Services in a way that breaks the law.

9.2 You may not publish false or materially misleading statements about us, manipulate our content, or misrepresent our Services. Our full position on this subject is set out in our Fair Use Terms, and nothing in these Terms restricts lawful consumer reviews, honest feedback, or fair criticism.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

10.1 We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not record the audio or video of any consultation without your permission. Audio and video are recorded only during webinars, after notice to you at the time of recording, as set out in our Webinar Terms.

11. Artificial Intelligence and Automation

11.1 Some of our chat and calling support across our website and messaging channels is handled by an AI agent, and some of our content may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence. An AI agent and artificial intelligence can make mistakes. Our full position is set out in our AI Policy, and where your matter is important or relates to a legal issue we recommend that you contact us by email.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Our Services are provided for spiritual, educational, and informational purposes, and we make no warranty as to any specific outcome. Our full disclaimer is set out in our Disclaimer.

12.2 To the extent permitted under the applicable laws of India, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, or business loss arising from your use of the Platform or the Services or from your reliance on any guidance or content. Where our liability for a direct loss is established and may lawfully be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service or product that gave rise to the claim.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, for our own negligence or a deficiency in service to the extent the law does not allow it to be excluded, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the applicable law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Statutory Consumer Rights

13.1 Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable law of India that cannot lawfully be removed or limited. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, that right prevails to the extent required by law.

14. Changes to the Services and to these Terms

14.1 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or the Services, and we may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective upon publication on our website, with material changes also noted on our Platform Updates page. It is your responsibility to review that page before placing an order or making a booking.

We acknowledge every request or grievance within five working days and work to resolve it within 30 days, with working days excluding Sundays and public holidays.

16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
